about the event

Join us for an evening of live music that explores the intersection of sound and poetry. Each of the four artists will create their own unique worlds, resulting in an assemblage of multiple narratives spliced together from collected field recordings, sampled instruments, and spoken word.

about the artists

  • Mandy Pixel, a Brussels-based DJ and sound artist, will take us to a place where dreams and nightmares collide through a short audio work inspired by the airplane spotters platform in Zaventem.

  • Hogobogobogo will present a performance inspired by the ultra-lettrist approach to sound poetry and its reliance on 'the scream' and 'the breath' as the building blocks of their art.

  • Gven Korevaar, a media artist currently residing in Ghent, will immerse us in a spoken word project inspired by nature and its sounds.

  • Victor Gybels, a Brussels-based artist and musician, will perform a piece that is not only a representation of sounds, but also of the memories, emotions and experiences that these sounds hold.
