Stefan Schneider, the driving force behind multi-faceted label TAL, joins us for an evening of thoughtful music and exchange. He will be presenting the label's latest release: a 7“ single with two yet unreleased songs by NON BAND and a photo magazine, both of which provide essential evidence of the tsunami-like tidal wave of the Japanese post punk movement. Afterwards, he will be doing a live set with mesmerizing electronics, woven through an immersive interaction between machine and human touch.

Düsseldorf-based musician and producer Stefan Schneider has travelled all around the world in search for sound. With TAL, he resents a wide ranging musical panorama, from Kenyan folk music of Ogoya Nengo And The Dodo Women’s Group to Japanese producers such as Tentenko, Kopy and Reiko Kudo. He also makes music himself as Mapstation and was part of the influential Berlin band To Rococo Rot.
