about the record
The Plafond series is a poetic dance between collaborators on different sides of the musical spectrum. The sixth installment pairs Cucina Povera with her captivating vocals together with Haron – a staple in the Dutch club scene – in what seems to be an album that is outside of both of their comfort zones. The result is a beautifully emotional and fragile album that sounds hopeful and redemptive at the same time. Moving and cinematic.
