Objects & Sounds - Collabs - Park Pardon

Park Pardon’s work plays with shape and color, turning everyday materials into characters that exist somewhere between artwork and object. Static yet animated, familiar yet strange.

Drawn to their intuitive and imaginative approach, we worked with them to create a series of masks inspired by our eight moods in store. This became Stemmingswisselingen (Dutch for “mood swings”)—masks that double as vinyl stands, designed to hold a favorite record, book, or something worth keeping close.

A playful way to bring sound, mood, and expression into something tactile.

Park Pardon is the creative playground of Bloeme van Bon and Geran Knol.

Since their graduation project in 2012, they have been creating handmade papier-mâché masks as both objects and expressions of identity, playing with color, pattern, and asymmetry to bring each character to life.

Through ongoing collaborations, they continue to explore how shape and character interact, incorporating fabric, clay, and found materials into their work—always looking for new ways to give form to identity and expression.
